HALLOWEEN!!!

I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT HALLOWEEN AND ABOUT BRECKEN'S COSTUME! I KNOW HE IS ONLY 6 WEEKS OLD BUT COME ON...HE IS MY FIRST CHILD! EVERYTHING IS NEW AND EXCITING FOR US! I JUST COULDN'T WAIT TO GET HIM IN HIS COSTUME AND GET HIM OUT FOR PEOPLE TO SEE! HE LOOKED SO DANG CUTE! CHUNKIEST MONKEY I'VE EVER SEEN FOR SURE!!! (FYI...HE IS OVER 12 POUNDS NOW!) THAT IS WHAT MY MOM'S NICK NAME FOR HIM IS...CHUNKY MONKEY!!! THAT COMES FROM THE FACT THAT HE IS CHUNKY AND HAIRY...LIKE HIS FATHER! WHEN HE WAS BORN HE HAD HAIR ALL OVER. HIS ARMS, LEGS, SHOULDERS, BACK, FACE, AND YES...BUM! WELL TRICK OR TREATING DIDN'T GO SO WELL. HE ZONKED OUT AT THE FIRST STOP, GRANDMA GLENDA'S. AT GRANDMA SHERI'S HE SLEPT THROUGH MOST OF THE VISIT AND THEN HE WENT BACK TO SLEEP IN THE CAR THE REST OF THE NIGHT.

Stuff We've Been Doing

Last weekend my parents invited us to go fishing at the Island Park Resevoir. Ryan was already going up that way bird hunting with some friends in the morning so Brecken & I met him and my parents up there in the afternoon. We had a fire and roasted hot dogs and did a little fishing, which wasn't any good. But Ryan did do really good bird hunting that morning. Him and his friend Tyler both limited out and we had a really good meal the next night for dinner!
Grandma Michelle and Brecken

The ladies at my church put together a little open house type baby shower for me and Brecken this week. We all got together and had a bite to eat and everyone got to see and hold the baby! He got passed around to everyone there I think. You know how a bunch of ladies are when there's a new baby around!

Brecken got his first hair cut last Tuesday. His hair was getting really long on top and in back especially and Ryan and my mom kept commenting about it and how he needed a hair cut. I thought it was kind of weird to even think about cutting a 1 month old baby's hair but I finally decided to cut it when Ryan kept saying he had a mollet! So we had Aunt Rach come over and she cut his hair while I held him. He was such a good boy too! I think he actually liked having her run her fingers through his hair. He just sat there very patiently. He looks so darn cute now. I can spike it on top and it doesn't flop over like it did before!

A couple of weekends ago my sister Brittni and her husband Devin came to visit and it was the first time they got to see Brecken. We all went bowling and took Gavin along with us. (He was spending the day hanging out with Uncle Ryan.) It was a lot of fun!

Cousins!

We have had lots of family come to visit and see Brecken. The weekend he was born most of the cousins on Ryan's side of the family were sick so they didn't get to come and see him until this last weekend when everyone was feeling better. Thanks to Lindsay, Tara, and Holly for sparing us the illness! We appreciate it! The cousins finally made it to see Brecken and we are so excited that he has so many to grow up with and be friends! Mitch and Tara's baby Kendall is 6 months older and Cade and Lindsay's baby Kearslee is 3 months older so they are all really close in age and it will be really fun to see them grow up together. I'm sure Gavin and Reegan will have lots to teach Brecken about being mischevious and being a boy!

Brecken, McKenzie, Gavin, & Kearslee
Just a couple weeks ago when I saw Kearslee I was thinking how little she was and when I saw her last weekend compared to Brecken I couldn't believe how big she was getting!

Gavin and Baby Brecken!

Kenzie is the oldest cousin and she is so good with the younger cousins!

2 WEEKS OLD

Today Brecken is 2 weeks old! I can't believe it's already been 2 weeks since he arrived! It seems like just the other day we were headed to the hospital. He is getting so big already. In 2 weeks he has gained over a pound. He was 6 lbs 15 oz when he was born and at his appointment on Wednesday he was 8 lbs! He is going to be a CHUNKY MONKEY! We love him so much and are so happy to have him in our family! It is so crazy how much a little baby can change your life. I find myself just sitting here watching him and thinking how beautiful he is and how much I love him. Ryan is totally in love too! Every night he comes home from work and immediately takes Brecken from me and they spend the evening together while I get dinner ready and finish things up before we get Brecken ready for bed. He is actually a good little sleeper for the most part. We put him to bed around 9:00 or 9:30 and he only gets up 2 times and usually goes right back to sleep. We have had a couple of rough nights but for the most part we are sleeping alright. I got a new camera for my birthday in August from Ryan and I love it. I have taken so many pictures of the baby but I just can't help it. I snap random pictures of him all the time! He is just so darn cute!

More of the Breckster

Well here are some more of the Breckster. We have just been resting up and visiting with family and friends. I think they said that they were going to release Autumn and Brecken tomorrow. Oh yeah. Sorry about the last post. I had no idea that the background was blue. I fixed the text, so hopefully you can read it now.

Brecken is here and he and wifee are well.

Brecken is here! He came at 10:42 pm. He is 19 and a half inches, and weighs 6lbs 15oz. Autumn did such an awsome job. She was such a champ. There was no screaming or crying, just Autumn pushing untill out came Brecken. I all ready have a nickname for him. It is B Wrecken. For when he B wrecken his shorts and making his mom change them. Well I'm not a good bloger so I'll end it here. Just wanted to fill you all in untill Autumn is able to.

Waiting....

So we are just IMPATIENTLY waiting for our little bundle of joy to make his appearance. Wednesday is the due date and we would really like if he comes that day...09/09/09 but I would be great with any day at this point. Right now it's just a waiting game. We have everything ready, all we need is the baby. We have the baby's room ready and everything we need. Ryan turned an old desk I bought at a yard sale for $20 into a amazing changing table. He did such a GREAT job! It's now a beautiful piece of furniture and I absolutely love it! Here are some before and after shots.

It's been a good summer but it's gone by really fast! I can hardly believe that the baby is due this week! We did some camping....Memorial weekend, 4th of July, and a couple other random weekends. We didn't camp for Labor Day weekend though. We thought we'd better sick close to home just in case...(wishful thinking!)

So there hasn't been much else going on lately. Just a lot of waiting. I got a new camera from Ryan for my birthday so when the baby comes I can take a lot of pictures and post more! Until then...keep your fingers crossed for the 9th!

Just a little get-a-way!

So spur of the moment Ryan and I decided to take a little road trip just to get away for the weekend and we ended up in Bozeman, MT. Neither of us had ever been there and so we just went for the weekend. It was really great just to get out of the house and go somewhere. My awesome sis Rachel got us a really great deal on a hotel room because she works at the AmericInn. We left Friday night and got up there kinda late so we didn't do anything but Saturday we got up and went to the Museum of the Rockies. It was pretty cool. They have a

great dinosaur exibit! We also watched a film in the planetarium there and looked at some other exibits but the dinosaurs were by far the best!

After the museum we went to the mall there to buy Ryan a belt (he forgot his) and had lunch and did a LITTLE shopping. The mall there kinda sucks! But there was a cool kitchen supply store there so we got some stuff there. After lunch we drove into downtown Bozeman to look around and then went back to the hotel and took a nap. It felt so good to just relax and have no agenda. We went to dinner that night at Outback and then stopped at Cost Plus World Market which is so cool! I think Ryan liked it even more than me cuz the only stuff we bought was his! On our way back to the hotel we stopped at Lucky Lil's. However, I wasn't so lucky and lost about $10 in about 20 minutes so we gave that up pretty quick! We aren't big gamblers! At that point we went back to the hotel and later found out we took the really, really long way home and the hotel was a lot closer to the shopping part of town than we thought it was. Oh well! We had a great time! Our trip home was a little scary however. We were caught in the middle of a severe winter storm that made driving home really scary! At one point we could barely see the car in front of us but there was nowhere to pull over and stop so we just had to keep going. We made it home safe and sound and now we are back to our Sunday evening routine of laundry and X-Box.

Baby Kamachi

As some of you already know we are expecting our first baby. I am 15 weeks and I'm due Sept. 9. We are so excited to have this little baby in our lives and can't wait till it's here! I have been waiting to post about it because I didn't have any pictures but we had an ultrasound today and I now have ultrasound pics to share. We find out next month what we are having but we are suspecting from today's ultrasound that it is a little boy. Guess we'll see! I didn't know exactly what to expect with pregnancy but I never expected to be so sick. I have been so sick since about week 6 but it has definetly gotten a lot better in the last couple weeks.

Update

So for everyone that has been hounding me about updating my blog this is for you! (And you know who you are!) Ryan & I are no longer living at Cade and Lindsay's. We are renting a house in St. Anthony until we decide to buy a house. We are just kinda waiting the winter out to see what happens with this crappy economy and to make sure that we still have jobs throughout the winter. The house we are renting is a huge, old house and we have really liked it. It was really fun to decorate for Christmas because it has a fireplace mantle and a bay window to put the tree in front of. We had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas and spent it between all of the families. We had a big Christmas Eve party at our house and it was a really good time having all of our family together from both sides. Last year for our first Christmas together Ryan and I decided instead of buying a bunch of gifts for eachother we would just buy one larger item we wanted together for Christmas each year. This year we bought a Lazy Boy recliner and a coffee table. I can't hardly keep Ryan out of it. I don't get much time in it because he seems to think it's his. (I'm actually the one that went and picked it out and brought it home.) And a huge thanks to Cade for breaking it in for me. I can still smell you! Other than just working and finishing one semester and getting ready to start another one we haven't been doing a lot. Oh yeah I did transfer to the St. Anthony branch of East Idaho Credit Union as the Lead Teller. So that is something new. Anyway I have some pictures from various things over the last few months so I thought I would do an update for the last few months.

September

In September we went to Utah for my step sister Brittni's wedding. We spent a day down there with the family at the temple in the afternoon and at their reception that night. The next day they had a reception here in Idaho so my other step sister Chelsea, her husband Dave, and their adorable little girl Brooklynn came and stayed with us. It was a lot of fun. All of the sisters were bridesmaids, including Devin's 3 sisters.

All the sister's minus the BRIDE The BRIDE & GROOM Some of the fam at the Temple

October-Halloween

I went to a couple of different Halloween parties. However, Ryan only went to one. The first one he ditched out on and my sister-in-law Lindsay and I went as eachother's date. She even wore Ryan's costume and won funniest costume. Ryan and I went to another one together at our friends' Brady and Katie's. It was really fun. We had a pumpkin carving contest and watched a scary movie. And...Brady and Katie are having a baby! Congratulations to them! We found that out on Halloween with their baby jackolantern. I was the NAUGHTY Nurse and Ryan was the moaning, complaining patient with a cute bare butt!

This is Ryan's jackolantern. At first I thought it was a guy pointing a gun but apparently its a zombie with his arms outstreched.

November

November was a supper fun month for us! Each year we take a couple days off work and spend the weekend in Salmon fishing. Last year we went with our friends Brady and Katie and they went with us again, along with Ryan's friend Tyler. We had a really fun time! They guys went fishing early each morning and Katie and I slept in, had breakfast, did a little shopping(I know... shopping in Salmon doesn't sound like fun but they have a store that had some really cute stuff) and we just basically did what ever we wanted. We even found a couple of little craft fairs that we went to. The guys spent the whole day on the river floating and fishing, and us girls' only assignment was to drive the pickup with the boat trailer to the spot downriver where they guys would get out at the end of the day. On the last day we drove up the canyon along the river just to see the sights. It was so pretty. We saw TONS of deer, some mountain sheep and rams, indian hyroglyphics, and lots of pretty mountains. We even stopped at a creek and Tyler and Ryan found something they think is gold flecks in the creek. It was such a great, relaxing trip!

I don't have any fun pictures to post for December. I didn't actually even take any at Christmas!
